U.S.-Bangladesh LNG Supply Agreement
U.S.-Bangladesh LNG Supply Agreement

In January 2025, Argent LNG, a developer of a 25 million metric tonnes per annum (MTPA) LNG facility in Louisiana, signed a non-binding agreement with the government of Bangladesh to supply up to 5 million metric tons of liquefied natural gas (LNG) annually. This agreement aims to ensure a reliable energy supply for Bangladesh's expanding industrial base and strengthens the strategic partnership between Bangladesh and the United States.
