ABOUT BIDA

Mr. Shah Mohammad Mahboob is an Additional Secretary to the Government of Bangladesh and currently working as the Executive Member at Bangladesh Investment Development Authority (BIDA) under the Chief Adviser’s Office. His job responsibilities include promoting Bangladesh as a potential investment destination in South Asia, business facilitation as well as creating international communication links. He is a member of 18th batch of the Bangladesh Civil Service and has worked previously in different capacities at the Ministry of Shipping, Ministry of Food and Ministry of Environment, Forestry and Climate Change. He has also served at the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations on secondment. He has studied Public Policy and Business Administration in home and abroad.
